* Phillipine Scubadiving Journal

Sometime ago at Dauin, Negros Oriental, I had the opportunity to meet and dive with Mr. Ken Knezick, who is the CEO of Island Dreams Travel-Houston, one of America's biggest and well-known dive travel operators, and also an excellent professional underwater photographer. It was his second time to visit, after many years of absence, mainly to see and have the feel of our current diving conditions, dive travel opportunities, and relevant matters. We certainly had a great time together and hope that we shall have him back here soon, with his family, friends, and clients.

Scuba-Dip

For most people, scuba diving is only for the adventurous, thrill-seeking, and financially stable guys -and gals, too. They think that it is one of the most difficult, and time-consuming activity or recreational sport to learn. Even before a person decides to give it a try, there are already certain factors that make him think a lot before doing so. Many fear that the underwater world is a dangerous environment to be in, with stories about big menacing creatures like sharks, salt-water crocodiles, and what else, just waiting for a diver or any unwary body to descend into their turf and be swallowed whole. Nonsense! They are partly the reason why more people are learning to dive, to encounter such creatures in their natural, uniquely beautiful environment.
